WITH APPROVAL has sired 42 stakes winners (16 graded), 80 stakes horses, and earners of more than $34 million, averaging over $67,000 per starter. His offspring have topped the $2 million mark in seasonal progeny earnings annually since 1996. He topped that goal for 2005 by early August, after easily surpassing that in 2004 with 83 winners of more than $3.2 million, finishing ahead of such major sires as Mr. Greeley, Mt. Livermore, Two Punch, Cozzene, Rahy, Danzig, and Thunder Gulch on the General Sire List.

He has already sired six stakes winners and earners of more than $2.1 million in 2005, with stakes wins or placings by LADY GRACE (dam by Mr. Redoy), A R CRACKERS (dam by Lord At War-ARG), WITH PATIENCE (dam by Green Dancer),  and COTOPAXI (dam by Polish Navy) in a 5-day period between August 10-14, and stakes performances by SILVERFOOT (dam by Silver Ghost), WITH PATIENCE, and LADY GRACE over the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

COTOPAXI, a multiple stakes performer in France last year, led off with a second-place finish in Del Mar's $81,500 Osunitas H. on August 10. The following day, WITH PATIENCE ran second in Saratoga's $67,100 De La Rose S. On August 13, A R CRACKERS became his sire's 42nd SW as he captured the $50,000 Retama Park Turf Breeders' Cup S. On August 14, LADY GRACE scored her second 2005 stakes win, leading wire to wire and pulling away in the stretch to take the $120,200 West Virginia Senate President's Breeders Cup S. by 1 1/2 lengths in stakes-record time of 1:33.74, just 1/5 off the existing course record!

On July 2, SILVERFOOT ran second behind 2004 Breeders' Cup Turf winner BETTER TALK NOW in Monmouth Park's $750,000 United Nations H. (G1), as Grade 1 winner REQUEST FOR PAROLE finished third, and multiple SW WITH PATIENCE was a 4 1/2-length winner of the Brookmeade S. at Colonial Downs. LADY GRACE became her sire's 41st SW on July 4 as she pulled away for a 2 1/4-length victory in the $75,000 Firecracker H. WITH PATIENCE returned to finish second in the Morgan's Ford Somethingroyal S., also at Colonial Downs, on July 23, while LADY GRACE made it three in a row with a one-mile allowance race on July 30 and a 7-furlong allowance win on July 16.

He sired his 16th Graded SW on April 16, as T. H. APPROVAL (dam by Potrillazo) took command in the stretch for a 1 1/2 length score in Santa Anita's $250,000 San Juan Capistrano H. (G2). T. H. APPROVAL ran second in the $165,300 Sunset Breeders' Cup H. (G2) at Hollywood Park on July 17, and also placed third in both the $150,000 San Marcos H. (G2) and the $150,000 San Luis Obispo H. (G3) during the Santa Anita winter meet.

SILVERFOOT is 3-for-3 over the Churchill Downs turf course, winning the $110,400 Louisville H. (G3) for the second consecutive year in his previous start on May 30. In his first 2005 start, he rated well off the pace before closing strongly to win a $64,600 Keeneland allowance race on April 23. SILVERFOOT became a graded stakes winner in his first attempt last year, closing strongly to win the $100,000 Louisville H. (G3). He has now won 7 of 13 starts, and $449,411.

Multiple SW DESTINY CALLS (dam by Miswaki) captured the $150,000 Louisiana Premier Night Distaff H. this spring and returned for a third-place finish in the $100,000 Red Camelia H. at Fair Grounds, while WITH PATIENCE  also ran second by 3/4 length in the one-mile Voodoo Dancer S. at Belmont Park on May 12, and TORATORATORA (dam by Silent Screen) finished third at Houston in the $100,000 Maxxam Gold Cup at 1 1/8 miles on the main track, then came back for a front-running 9-length allowance victory.

Multiple SW DESTINY CALLS has now won 11 of 16 career starts and $483,320. At 4 last year, she captured her first six starts by a combined 15 1/2 lengths before finishing second in the $100,000 Louisiana Champions Day Ladies H. on December 11 at Fair Grounds. On October 23, making her first start since March, she roared through fractions of :21.91, :45.48, :57.22 and 1:10.31 to post a wire to wire, 3 1/2-length victory over 6 furlongs on the main track in the $53,950 Victoria S. at Louisiana Downs before a one-mile allowance win over a muddy track at Fair Grounds on November 27. Earlier this year, she set a new stakes record in the $97,000 Red Camelia H. over one mile on the turf at Fair Grounds, leading wire to wire to win by 3 3/4 lengths, after a wire to wire victory in the $150,000 Louisiana Premier Night Distaff H., at one mile on the main track, and 2004 Fair Grounds allowance wins on dirt and turf, each by 3 3/4 lengths.
