Divorce Party (2,c, Broken Vow/ Pink Champagne) broke his maiden on Saturday at Delaware Park in a Maiden Special Weight. Switching to dirt for his second start, Divorce Party pulled away in the stretch to win by a length and a half. He was bred in Virginia by Audley Farm and was sold in the 2012 Keeneland September Sale for $160,000.
Brooklyn Cowboy (5,g, Pomeroy/No Better Time) posted his first stakes win on Saturday in the West Virginia Legislature Chairman’s Cup Stakes (100k) at Mountaineer winning by 1 and 1/4 lengths. The 5 year old now has earnings of $199,900. He was bred in Florida by Silverleaf Farms and is a graduate of the 2008 Keeneland November Sale.
Rise Up (2,c, Rockport Harbor/Appenzell) cruised to a 4 and 3/4 length win in the Mountaineer Juvenile Stakes (100k) on Saturday at Mountaineer. The 2 year old colt was making just his third career start and his first start on the dirt after winning at Presque Isle Downs back in June. The two year old filly went off as the favorite and never looked back after getting the lead at the beginning of the race. She is the first foal out of the stakes winning mare Exotic Bloom. She was bred in Kentucky by Harvey Clarke and Brookdale Farm.
Mr. Viber (c, 2, Tale of the Cat/Medina Thunder) cruised to a two and a quarter length win yesterday at Delaware Park in the colt’s racing debut. He is owned and bred by International Equities Holdings Inc and was foaled and raised at Brookdale Farm.
