Lily Hannah (4, f, Johannesburg/ Lilies for Rozie) won on Friday at Gulfstream Park. The filly was bred in Kentucky by Erik and Mary Jo Amlie and is a graduate of the 2010 Keeneland September sale.
Brookdale grad Tritap (4,c, Tapit/ Victory Road) was second on Saturday in the San Fernando Stakes (Gr. 2) at Santa Anita Park. The 4-year-old colt battled down the stretch with Fed Biz but eventually beaten by a head. Tritap was bred in Kentucky by Copper Penny Stables LLC and was sold at the 2010 Keeneland September Sale for $450,000.
Broodmare prospect Mahkama had the top priceb of the session on Thursday at Keeneland, selling for $145,000 to Blandford Bloodstock. Consigned by Brookdale Sales, the four year old filly by Bernardini is a half sister to GIII winner Summer Raven.
Making his first start since a fourth place finish in the Louisana Derby (G2), Cigar Street (3, c, Street Sense/Arcadiana) was back in the winner circle on Thursday after winning by 2 lengths in an Allowance/Optional Claiming Race at Gulfstream Park. The 3 year old colt was bred in Kentucky by the partnership of Marvin Delfiner, Ted Folkerth, and Brookdale Farm.
California Memory (6,g, Highest Honor/ Kalpita) became the first horse to win the Longines Hong Kong Cup (G1) in back to back years on Sunday. After winning the Longines Jockey Club Cup (G2) last month, California Memory was able to get past his rivals in the stretch for a one length victory. California Memory was bred and raised in Kentucky by Fred Seitz and Brookdale Farm and is a 2007 Keeneland September graduate. Dixiluna (2, f, Dixie Union/Dundrummin’) broke her maiden this afternoon at Parx Racing in a MSW. The two-year old filly was bred in Virginia by Audley Farm and is a graduate of the 2011 Keeneland September Sale.
Ambush Woman (2,f,Divine Park/Phu Cat) broke her maiden over the weekend at Remington Park in a MSW. The filly was bred in Kentucky by Dr. H. Steve Conboy and Divine Park Syndicate and is a graduate of the 2011 Fasig-Tipton October Sale.
Brookdale Grad Firenze Feeling (2,f, Macho Uno/ Elusive) broke her maiden impressively in her career debut on Saturday at Laurel Park. The two year old filly was bred in Virginia by Audley Farm and was sold in the 2011 Keeneland September Sale.
