The colt is coming off an impressive MSW win at Aqueduct on January 26th. He was bred in Florida by Hardacre Farm LLC and was purchased by Darley at the 2011 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale for $725,000.
Cigar Street (4,c, Street Sense/ Arcadiana) won again on Sunday at Gulfstream Park. This was the colt’s second win in as many starts since returning to the track after a layoff due to an injury. He now has 3 wins in 5 lifetime starts and earnings of $122,138. The 4 year old colt was bred in Kentucky by the partnership of Marvin Delfiner, Ted Folkerth, and Brookdale Farm.
Al’s Rosie (3, f, Harlan’s Holiday/Cuscowilla) broke her maiden yesterday afternoon at Aqueduct in just her third career start. The filly was bred in Kentucky by Tommy G. Ligon and is a graduate of the 2011 Keeneland September Sale.
Falling Sky (3, c, Lion Heart/Sea Dragoness) earned his first graded stakes win on Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs in the Sam F. Davis Stakes (G3). It was the colt’s first attempt at a two turn race after previously competing in 6 and 6 1/2 furlongs races, but the distance was not a problem as he led the entire race. The colt now has 3 wins in 4 lifetime starts and earnings of $164,800. Falling Sky was bred in Pennslyvania by Copper Penny Stables LLC and is a graduate of the 2010 Keeneland November Sale.

Brookdale grad Nicklaus Way (4, g, Bluegrass Cat/Lizzy’s Bluff) won again on Wednesday in an Allowance Optional Claiming race at Tampa Bay Downs. The four year old was bred in Kentucky by Donard H. Niall and Michael L. Niall and sold for $75k in the 2010 Keeneland September Sale.
Brookdale raised and sold I’ll Have Another received the Eclipse Award on Saturday night for Champion Three Year Old Male. He was also a finalist for Horse of the Year, but came up second in the voting. The 2012 Kentucky Derby (G1) and Preakness Stakes (G1) winner was just a day away from trying to become the first horse to win the Triple Crown in 34 years but was retired with an injury. Along with his G1 wins in the Derby and Preakness, I’ll Have Another also captured the Santa Anita Derby (G1) and was 2nd in the Robert B. Lewis Stakes (G2) in 2012. I’ll Have Another was bred in Kentucky by Harvey Clarke.
Brookdale Grad Night Seeker (4, c, Harlan’s Holiday/Tamina) broke his maiden on Sunday at Oaklawn Park in a Maiden Special Weight race. The 4 year old colt was bred in Virginia by Audley Farm Inc and was sold at the 2010 Keeneland September sale for $275k.
Firenze Feeling (3, f, Macho Uno/ Elusive) won again on Saturday at Laurel Park in an Allowing Optional Claiming race. The three year old filly now has 2 wins in 3 career starts. She was bred in Virginia by Audley Farm is was sold at the 2011 Keeneland September Sale for $110k.
