Million Dollar Mares Highlight Incredible November Sales for Brookdale

Brookdale Sales started off the November Sales strong, selling three 7 figure mares.  At the Fasig-Tipton November Sale, multiple G1 Placed PAID UP SUBSCRIBER sold for $1,100,000 to White Birch Stable.  Shortly after that, WHATDREAMSRMADEOF, the dam of multiple G1 Winner CURALINA sold for $1,650,000 to Summer Wind Equine.

Over at Keeneland, G1 Winner PAOLA QUEEN demanded everyone’s attention and was hammered down at the price of $1,700,000 to Tom Ryan’s SF Bloodstock.

This sale capped off a strong sales year for Brookdale, which grossed over $14 million in sales for 2016.

HARMONIZE Captures G1 Del Mar Oaks (Video)

Brookdale Grad HARMONIZE (3, f, Scat Daddy/Mesa Fresca) excelled down the stretch to capture the G1 Del Mar Oaks by a head yesterday afternoon.  She now has 4 wins in 9 starts and earnings of $484,260.  She was bred in Kentucky by Jack Swain III and was born and raised at Brookdale Farm. She is a graduate of the 2014 Keeneland Septemebr Sale.



Brookdale Grad READY FOR RYE 3rd in the Jaipur Invitational Stakes (G3)

Ready for Rye (4,g, City Zip/Embroidery) closed down the stretch to finish 3rd in the Grade 3 Jaipur Invitational Stakes at Belmont on Saturday.  In 14 career starts, Ready for Rye has now earned $586,760.  He was bred in Kentucky by Soc. Agr. Santa Elena De Chimbarongo LTDA and was born and raised at Brookdale Farm. Ready for Rye was purchased by Chalk Racing at the 2013 Keeneland September Sale.



NOBLE BIRD Dominates G3 Pimlico Special Handicap (Video)

Brookdale Grad Noble Bird (5,h, Birdstone/Anyhow) went wire to wire on Friday in the G3 Pimlico Special Handicap winning by over 11 lengths. He now has 5 wins in 15 starts and has earned $755,785 at the track.  He was bred in Kentucky by Jack Swain and was born and raised at Brookdale Farm. He is a graduate of the 2012 Fasig-Tipton July Sale where he was purchased by Mark Casse for John Oxley.



LAND OVER SEA finishes 2nd in the G1 Kentucky Oaks (Video)

LAND OVER SEA (3, f, Bellamy Road/Belle Watling) finished 2nd in the G1 Kentucky Oaks on May 6th at Churchill Downs. Coming into the stretch she sat about 6th but rallied to finish 2nd. In just 9 starts, Land Over Sea has earned $654,000 and has only finished off the board once.  She was bred in Kentucky by Jack Swain III and was born and raised at Brookdale Farm. Land Over Sea is a graduate of the 2014 Keeneland September Sale.
