Due to the rain, the race was taken off the turf but this did not seem to bother Rise Up as he went wire to wire to win by 3 and 3/4 lengths. Rise Up was bred in Kentucky by Cottonwood Stables LLC and is a graduate of the 2012 Keeneland September Sale.
Natalie’s Wonder (2,f, Tiz Wonderful/Appenzell) broke her maiden on Saturday at Los Alamitos going wire to wire in her third career start. She was bred in Kentucky by Cottonwood Stables LLC and was purchased in the 2013 Keeneland September Sale.
Kibble (2,f, Flatter/Spring Mambo) broke her maiden on Sunday at Aqueduct pulling away in the stretch to win by 4 and 1/4 lengths. She was bred in Florida by Hardacre Farm LLC and is a graduate of the 2013 Keeneland September Sale.
U.S.S. O’Brien (3,f,Empire Maker/Garden City) led wire to wire yesterday in the Golden Beach Handicap (50k) at Gulfstream Park to post her first stakes win. She now has 3 wins in 9 lifetime starts and earnings of $139,450. She was bred in Kentucky by Dr. Ted Folkerth and was born and raised at Brookdale Farm. She is a graduate of the 2012 Keeneland September Sale.
Fascinating (3,f, Smart Strike/Untouched Talent) broke her maiden on Saturday at Los Alamitos Race Course by 4 and 1/4 lengths. A half-sister to G1 winner Bodemeister, Fascinating placed twice in Grade 1 races last year before a break and returned back to the races this fall. In seven starts she now has earnings of $147,760. She was born and raised at Audley Farm and was purchased at the 2012 Keeneland September Sale by John Sikura and Bruce Lunsford.
Duff (2,c, Candy Ride (ARG)/To The Brim) won by a head yesterday in the Christopher Elser Memorial Stakes (75k) at Parx. In just 6 starts, the two year old now has three wins and earnings of $133,220. He was bred in Pennsylvania by Two Sisters Farm and is owned by The Elkstone Group LLC.
Brookdale Sales, agent for Aislabie Bloodstock consigned Strawberrydaiquiri the eight year old mare by Dansili in foal to Dubawi. She was purchased for $1.45 million on November 5th at the Keeneland November breeding stock sale. Her ticket was signed by Benoit Jeffroy of Mandore International Agency.
