The 4-year-old gelding won 5 of 7 races last year, with career earnings of over $250,000. Yankee Fourtune was consigned by Brookdale Sales in the 2008 Keeneland September Sale. Sense of Pride (Lemon Drop Kid/Allison’s Winner) came in 3rd in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes on Saturday at Woodbine. Sense of Pride was bred by Windfields Farm and is owned by Bill Farish. She was sold at the Keeneland September 2009 sale.
Kitty in a Tizzy (Tiznow/Puma Kitten) is entered to run on Sunday in the Selene Stakes at Woodbine. Coming off a 2nd in the Duchess Stakes on 8/7/10, Kitty in a Tizzy is owned by William Clifton and trained by H. James Bond and will be heading to the Keeneland November sale. Brookdale graduate, Serene Sophia (Giant’s Causeway/Miss Soft Sell), broke her maiden on Thursday at Del Mar by 1 and a 1/2 lengths. Serene Sophia was sold in the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale for $280,000. Bred by Cris Caldwell, Serene Sophia is a half to Brother Derek, as well as hip 1050, a Bernardini colt being consigned by Brookdale in September.
Got The Call (Silver Deputy–Abundantly Blessed) broke her maiden yesterday at Indian Downs in the 4th race. Got The Call was bred by Tommy G. Ligon and was sold by Brookdale in the 2007 Keeneland September Sale for $85,000.
Jansy (Silver Deputy–Bella Signora) broke her maiden yesterday at Praire Meadows by 4 1/2 lengths. Jansy was bred in Kentucky by International Equities Holding Inc and was a 2008 Keeneland September graduate.
