Stonestreet Stables LLC went to $510,000 to purchase the half-sister to this year’s G2 Black-Eyed Susan winner Stopchargingmaria at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale. The two-year-old half sister by More Than Ready had the co-fastest filly breeze time on Wednesday in 10.1. She was bred and owned by Harvey Clarke and Brookdale Farm.
Brookdale Grad Transparent (3,c, Bernardini/ Habiboo) broke his maiden impressively on Saturday at Aqueduct winning by 5 and 3/4 lengths. The three year old colt was bred in Florida by Hardacre Farm LLC and sold for $725k in the 2011 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Sale.

Post positions were drawn this morning for the 2012 Belmont Stakes which drew a field of 12. Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, I’ll Have Another will break from post position 11 on Saturday in his quest to be the first horse since Affirmed in 1978 to complete the Triple Crown. I’ll Have Another was made the 4-5 morning line favorite.
I’ll Have Another (Flower Alley/ Arch’s Gal Edith) is Kentucky Derby bound, after an impressive win Saturday, April 7th in the Grade I Santa Anita Derby. The 3 year old colt was bred in Kentucky by Harvey Clark and was a 2010 Keeneland September Graduate.
