Solar Slew the dam of Cigar was purchased in foal to Deputy Minister by Brookdale, Marvin Delfiner and Ted Folkerth at the 2000 Keeneland November sale. The resulting filly was a foal by the name of Arcadiana, Solar Slew’s final foal. Arcadiana has gone on to a productive broodmare career producing five winners including Cigar Street in 2009. Cigar Street (Street Sense/Arcadiana) was bred in Kentucky by Brookdale, Marvin Delfiner and Ted Folkerth. He was sold in the 2011 Keeneland April 2YO in training sale by Niall Brennan.
