Nice Number Breaks Maiden at Churchill

Nice Number (3,f, Pioneerof the Nile/Sunny Nature (GB)) overcame a bad start to win by 3/4 of a length at Churchill on June 13th in just her 2nd start. Nice Number was bred in Kentucky by Brookdale Farm and Dr. Ted Folkerth and is a graduate of 2012 Keeneland September Sale.



Aqua Regia Wins at Belmont

Aqua Regia (3,f, Pollard’s Vision/Phu Cat) found her way back in the winner’s circle on June 5th after winning an Allowance Race at Belmont by 1 and 1/4 lengths. The three year old filly was bred in Kentucky by Dr. H. Steve  Conboy and now has updated earnings of $128,380.  Aqua Regia is a graduate of the 2012 Fasig-Tipton October Sale.




Dido Posts Her 3rd Straight Win

Dido (4,f, Bernstein/Anyhow) made in three wins in a row on Saturday at Pimlico when she pulled away in the stretch to win by a length. The four year old filly now has 3 wins in 8 lifetime starts and earnings of $72,890.  Dido was bred in Kentucky by owner and breeder Jack Swain and raised at Brookdale Farm.


Half-Sister to Stopchargingmaria Brings 510K at Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale

Stonestreet Stables LLC went to $510,000 to purchase the half-sister to this year’s G2 Black-Eyed Susan winner Stopchargingmaria at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Two-Year-Olds in Training sale.  The two-year-old half sister by More Than Ready had the co-fastest filly breeze time on Wednesday in 10.1.  She was bred and owned by Harvey Clarke and Brookdale Farm.


Stopchargingmaria Impressive in Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (G2) Win (Video)

Stopchargingmaria (3,f, Tale of the Cat/Exotic Bloom) found her way back to the winner’s circle in Friday’s Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (G2) at Pimlico battling down the stretch to win by a neck. The filly now has 4 wins in 8 lifetime starts with earnings of $874,000.  Stopchargingmaria was born and raised at Brookdale Farm and was bred by Harvey Clarke and Brookdale Farm, she is the first foal out of the G3 placed mare Exotic Bloom.  She is a graduate of the 2012 Keeneland September Sale.


Brookdale Grad Walk Close Wins at Belmont

Walk Close (3,f, Tapit/Spring Awakening) won by a nose on Sunday in an Allowance Race at Belmont. Making her first start back since breaking her maiden last September, the filly now has two wins in two lifetime starts and earnings of $94,200.  Walk Close was bred in Kentucky by Brookdale Farm, Jack Swain, and Jon and Sarah Kelly and was purchased in the Keeneland September 2012 Sale for $180,000.
